This paper reports the synthesis of two new lanthanum and cerium complexes with general
formula [Ln (H 2 O) 2 X 3 L 2](where X= NO 3-, Ln= La, Ce and L= 1-phenyl-2-(morpholinyl)
ethanone)), which exhibit fluorescent properties and havepotential inhibition activities of
