This paper proposes a new digital watermarking scheme for video copyright protection. The
watermarks used are binary images and are embedded in blocks of luminance pixels by
quantization. Every bit of the watermark is spread over a block of pixels with the use of a key.
The original image and watermark are not needed for watermark extraction. We have tested
the resilience of the algorithm against 7 different attacks and improved the decoding BER by
using error correction codes and spatial and temporal redundancy. Experimental results …
