This study investigated occupational stress coping strategies among lecturers in Ilorin
metropolis. The descriptive research design was employed and a total of one hundred and
fifty (150) lecturers were selected from three (3) institutions, using a simple random sampling
technique. Questionnaire was validated before using test re-test method of reliability with co-
