[Mn (L)(H2O)]∞(2), have been synthesized by the reaction of MnAc3· 2H2O with H3L.
Magnetic studies revealed that complex 2 exhibits intermetallic ferromagnetic coupling,
which is the first one-dimensional high-spin Mn (III) complex with ferromagnetic behavior.
