Abstract
Propagation of Mycorrhizae by Using Soybean Host Plants with Various Doses of Compost. Supervised by St. Subaedah and Saida. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of compost dose on mycorrhizal propagation with the use of soybean host plants. This research was conducted at the Green House, Laboratory of Soil and Environmental Conservation, Faculty of Agriculture, Muslim University of Indonesia and the Laboratory of Microbiology, Research and Development Center for Environment and Forestry in Makassar. Taking place from June to September 2020. The research method used was a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments, as follows: mycorrhizae, mycorrhizae+ compost 10 g/polybag, mycorrhizae+ compost 15 g/polybag and mycorrhizae+ compost 20 g/polybag was repeated 3 times in order to obtain 12 experimental units, each repetition used 4 polybags. The results showed that the multiplication of mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), root length and root biomass weight of host plants were the highest in the treatment without compost. Meanwhile, the growth of soybean host plants is better with the provision of compost 20 g/polybag.
