Abstract
The Indonesian state which is an archipelago country makes many of its people who have the profession to be fishermen either large scale and also small scale. In contrast to large-scale fishermen who have ships of 30 GT size, small fishermen with vessels of 10-30 GT generally do not have communication modules making it difficult to monitor the position of the vessel when fishing. Though this system of supervision is important to be done in order to know the fishing line and for the mitigation process in case of an accident when going to sea. This research will be designed for supervision of small-scale fishing boats with ship size of 10-30 GT which will be applied for fishing village in KB village, kelurahan pasir parupuk, Kecamatan Koto Tangah, Padang City. As a communication module will be used LoRa technology that can reach the distance reaches 3 Km.
