SESSIONE 16 dolomicritic fossiliferous limestone. Petrographic examination shows that
amount of tuff-aggregate in the mortar is very low (15÷ 17%), and its lack is partially replaced
by red-brick fragments of cocciopesto (up to 4%). Pumiceous scoria, sanidine phenocrysts,
ash-tuff with zeolite fillings, and carbonate rock fragments form the fine-aggregate. The
