A novel series of metal complexes of the types,[ML 2 (H 2 O) 2] Cl 2 and [ML 2] Cl 2 [M= Mn

ligand, L (E)-N-(furan-2-yl methylene) quinolin-8-amine, derived from the condensation of 2-
