Product rotational polarization in photon‐initiated bimolecular reactions

FJ Aoiz, M Brouard, PA Enriquez - The Journal of chemical physics, 1996 - pubs.aip.org
This paper concerns the semiclassical description, calculation and measurement of angular
momentum polarization in the products of elementary gas‐phase bimolecular reactions. A
unified, semiclassical treatment of the centre‐of‐mass correlated (k, k′, j′) angular
distribution involving the reagent and product relative velocity and the product angular
momentum vectors is described, and is related to other methodologies already existing in
the literature. Explicit expressions are provided enabling experimentalists to extract …

[图书][B] Product rotational polarization in photoinitiated bimolecular reactions

P Rakitzis - 1997 - search.proquest.com
Procedures are described for the measurement of the differential cross section moments of
the velocity distribution of the state-selected products of photoinitiated bimolecular reactions
using REMPI detection and time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The relative ionization
probability of a single product molecule is presented in the form I= $\rm1+ f
(\Theta,\Phi,\theta\sb {\varepsilon},\theta\sb {u}, $ A $\rm\sbsp {q}{(k) stf}), $ where the angles
$\Theta,\\Phi, $ and $\theta\sb {\varepsilon} $ describe the orientation of the product's …
