Abstract
In this work, an accurate predictive correlation has been proposed, which presents an easy RVP estimating for a light crude oil with avoiding the expensive and time-consuming laboratory methods. The established correlation for predicting RVP of the investigated light crude oil depends on few physical properties inputs of API gravity and pseudocritical properties. The predicted RVP values have been evaluated with experimentally RVP measured data obtained for 745 light crude oil samples at 37.78 °C. The absolute average deviation (AAD %) and relative error (Er) of the predicted RVP using the proposed correlation are 3.61% and −0.337%, respectively.
