Methylene Blue (MB) adsorption from aqueous solution was investigated. Solid adsorbents
were fabricated from charcoal fly ash, clay and fine sand with the proportion of 50, 25 and 25
percent, respectively. Experiments were conducted in a packed column to remove MB from
the synthetic wastewater. The generated wastewater contained 4 mg/l of MB. The
wastewater with flow rates of 18, 35 and 50 ml/min was continuously pumped through the
