Experiments were conducted to elucidate the effects of indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and 1-
naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and planting time on the regeneration of semihardwood stem
cuttings of Indian bdellium (C. wightii). Stem cuttings pretreated with 100 ppm IBA showed
significantly higher shoot length, number of branches, number and length of main roots per
cutting than untreated cuttings. It was the most effective concentration for propagating C.
