The control level of energy efficiency of production processes at the enterprise can be raised by developing a multilevel process control system, which integrate all monitoring and control functions into a single system. Hardware selection and system synthesis of such systems is important task today. Focus of this paper is hardware selection method for the synthesis of system components. That method allows finding a system configuration which meets initial requirements and limitations. The program based on this method was developed. This program can generate and filter design alternatives and decrease time required for system design.
