Based on the natural benefits of the indigenous microbiota, lactic acid bacteria (LAB) from
poultry origin were isolated from hens and broilers intestine, and their probiotic potential was
further studied. The tolerance to digestion, adhesion, capture of a mannose-binding lectin,
