Abstract
Selective CO methanation was studied over Ru-TiO2 catalysts papered by wet impregnation method. All the catalysts were well characterized by sophisticated analytical techniques like XRD, BET surface area and TEM measurements. Subsequently, Ruthenium catalysts tested for the selective synthesis of methane followed by CO hydrogenation reaction. The influences of matrix nature as well as catalyst composition were also examined in detail. Low temperature requirement and catalysts recycling are the added advantages of proposed protocol.
