Audio signal processing techniques are described which are employed within a circuit of a
speech dereverberation system. The amount of data or number of samples input to a
reverberation coefficient determination unit is determined, taking into account information
about the background noise in the acoustic space and information about energy of
reverberant sound in the acoustic space.
