Simulation study of the sensing field in electromagnetic tomography for two-phase flow measurement

The sensing field in the electromagnetic tomography (EMT) system has been studied based
on a novel parallel excitation which uses a flexible circuit strips array. The principle of
parallel excitation is analyzed. To find out the interaction between the excitation field and the
object field which is produced by conductive and/or ferromagnetic materials in the measured
space, both empty sensing field and object sensing field are simulated using the finite
