SAR imaging systems provide large-scale and high-resolution imaging capabilities,
independently of day–night and weather conditions. A conventional SAR projects a 3D
reflectivity map on a 2D plane. This projection from 3D to 2D space induces some effects like
layover and foreshortening [1]. For some applications like urban area and natural
environment monitoring, 2D SAR imaging comes to be of a limited interest by omitting the
