Some physical properties of Rasa grape (Vitis vinifera L.) were determined as a function of
moisture content (dry basis). As the moisture content was increased from 12.20 to 71.53%
db the average length, width, thickness and the geometric mean diameter of grape varied
from 14.92 to 16.56, 8.53 to 14.13, 6.12 to 13.69 and 9.20 to 14.74 mm, respectively. In the

Abstract
Some physical properties of Rasa grape (Vitis vinifera L.) were determined as a function of moisture content (dry basis). As the moisture content was increased from 12.20 to 71.53% db the average length, width, thickness and the geometric mean diameter of grape varied from 14.92 to 16.56, 8.53 to 14.13, 6.12 to 13.69 and 9.20 to 14.74 mm, respectively. In the same moisture content range, the study showed that sphericity, surface area and thousand fruit mass, bulk and true density were increased from 0.61 to 0.89, 265.94 mm to 683.35 mm, 2 2 564.8 g to 2578.7 g, 401.90 kg/m to 712.71 kg/m, 725.14 kg/m to 1526.47 kg/m, respectively. In addition, as the 3 3 3 3 moisture content was increased from 12.20 to 71.53% db the terminal velocity of grape was increased from 16.38 to 19.86 m/s. The static coefficient of friction was linearly increased with an increase in the moisture content for all contact surfaces (Plywood, aluminum, rubber and galvanized iron). The research indicated that Rubber surface had maximum static coefficient of friction.
