The nano structure based on silicon can be surface modified to be used as label-free
biosensors that allow real-time measurements. The silicon nanowire surface was
functionalized using 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTES), which functions as a facilitator
to immobilize biomolecules on the silicon nanowire surface. The process is simple,
