In this paper we deal with the behavior of the local stability, global attractor and
boundedness of solutions of the following difference equation x< sub> n+ 1= ax< sub> n-1+
bx< sub> n-1 x< sub> n-2/cx< sub> n+ dx< sub> n-2, n= 0, 1,..., where the initial conditions
x< sub>-2, x< sub>-1, x< sub> 0 are arbitrary positive real numbers and a, b, c, d are
constants. Also, we give a specific form of solution of four special cases of this equation.
