This paper presents the use of switches at rectifier circuit to make full-bridge ZCS boost
converter operated at constant switching frequency. The main four switches at the input are
operated with zero current switching (ZCS). The switches at rectifier circuit are operated with
zero voltage switching (ZVS). Both ZCS and ZVS can minimize the switching loss. The

This paper presents the use of switches at rectifier circuit to make full-bridge ZCS boost converter operated at constant switching frequency. The main four switches at the input are operated with zero current switching (ZCS). The switches at rectifier circuit are operated with zero voltage switching (ZVS). Both ZCS and ZVS can minimize the switching loss. The proposed converter can be operated at constant frequency that is suitable for the applications that need to avoid a certain range of frequencies since a specific switching frequency can be assigned to the proposed converter. The work also includes steady state analysis using state-plane diagram approach, converter design and computer simulations for confirming the analytical work.
