The potato (Solanum tuberosum) disease resistance protein Rx has a modular arrangement
that contains coiled-coil (CC), nucleotide-binding (NB), and leucine-rich repeat (LRR)
domains and mediates resistance to potato virus X. The Rx N-terminal CC domain
