Abstract
The interfacing between Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAVs) aerial nodes and Dynamic Ground Users (GUs) provides large applications in the field of surveillance, navigation, disaster monitoring, data acquisition, homeland security, etc. UAV assisted random heterogeneous network is an instance of such hybrid network. Due to the movement of mass users’, cellular network faces many transmission delays and poor Quality of Services (QoS). To improve the transmission delays and QoS, UAV is proposed for random heterogeneous network. This paper focuses on the survey the recent work of random heterogeneous network (HetNet) model which depicted a real communication scenario with the assistance of optimally placed aerial nodes. Our contributions focus on improving data dissemination, minimizing the delays and enhance the QoS. Due to UAV assistance, random heterogeneous network will offer several advantages and applications over traditional networks in terms of high speed data, mobility, and scalability.
