Abstract
This research aims to provide a clear picture of the use of Solar Panels as an alternative energy source for home-scale electricity needs. In this study, a Solar Panel with a capacity of 100 WP was used, where the energy produced by the Solar Panel was then stored in a battery (accu) with a capacity of 12 volts 100Ah. The electrical energy produced by the Solar Panels is still in the form of electrical energy with unidirectional voltage. Because most existing electrical equipment uses reverse voltage, an inverter is needed to convert the unidirectional voltage generated by the Solar Panel into alternating voltage. The inverter used in this study has a capacity of 3000 watts as a dc voltage converter of 12 volts to AC 220 volts, which will then be used as a source of electrical energy for electrical appliances in the form of household appliances and electric lights
