Tourism is one of the sectors encouraged by the Indonesian government to increase
economic growth. one of the efforts made is to establish Labuan Bajo as a national tourism
strategic area. This study aims to explain the dynamics of access contested by some actors
in tourism governance in Labuan Bajo. A qualitative approach was employed in this study.
