The main purpose of this research was to study the Noctuidae species, living in the forests of
Zonguldak Regional Administration and to find out which plants they attack, and the biology
of the most important species. Information about these species living in Turkey and in the
adjacent countries was obtained by studying the literature. The Noctuidae species collected
from this region were identified and some important pests were studied in laboratory and
field conditions to find out their biology.
