The present study aims at finding out students' intelligence and describing teacher's strategy
in English teaching. The sample of this study is taken from two Islamic secondary schools
and one public junior secondary school in Makassar, Indonesia. The total sample of this
research is 120 students. Interview and inventory were employed to obtain the data. The
result of the study showed that three students of the secondary schools have different
