The thousands schools all over the world had closed, due to COVID-19 pandemic, as a result this situation led to the introduction of distance learning. The ideas implementation of distance education into pedagogical practice had been researched by: V. Bykov [1], N. Chernukha [2], M. Bukharkina [8], V. Kukharenko [5], M. Leshchenko [6], P. Leshchenko [7], M. Moiseeva [8], E. Polat [8], O. Rybalko [9], S. Guri-Rosenblit [4], L. Tymchuk [12], L. Tokaruk [2], P. Fedoruk [3], B. Shunevych's [10].

One of the reasons for the difficulties in understanding the concept of" distance education" is the terminological confusion, the lack of a common understanding of the content in basic definitions and concepts related to this term. We can count over thirty terms-equivalents that have appeared for the last 15-20 years, which include–“teaching at a distance”,“online learning”,“resource-oriented learning (resourcebased learning)”,“network learning”,“open learning”,“e-learning”,“continuous learning”,“life-long learning”,“blended learning”,“virtual learning”,“distancedistant education”,“flexible learning”,“web-based learning–training”,“computerbased learning”,“distance learning–teaching”,“online learning-training (internetlearning-training)”[7].
