Time domain reflectometric and spectroscopic studies on toluene+ butyronitrile solution

The dielectric parameters of toluene+ butyronitrile solution have been obtained by time
domain reflectometry (TDR) technique in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 30 GHz at 298
K. Spectroscopic (FTIR and 13C NMR) studies have also been carried out on the solution
and the results of the studies show that neat butyronitrile is self-associative through C− H⋯ N
contacts and weak intermolecular forces of C− H⋯ N and C− H⋯ π type are operative in the
