The usage of Autonomous Surface Vehicles enhances the monitoring of largescale water
environments. In this work-in-progress, we evaluate the idea of monitoring the continuously
changing behaviors of water quality parameters via Bayesian Optimization and Gaussian
Process that account for time-varying behaviors. Results of this novel formulation show good
monitoring regarding three implemented strategies for the monitoring system.
