Transparent conducting films made of different carbon nanotubes, processed carbon nanotubes, and graphene nanoribbons

Transparent conducting films (TCFs) are made of different single-walled (SW) or multi-
walled (MW) carbon nanotubes (CNTs), some of them previously modified by chemical or
physical processes. The TCFs are prepared by spray-coating of CNT surfactant dispersions
over glass substrates. Among pristine CNTs, laser-grown SWCNTs lead to the lowest
resistivity, even though good results can be achieved with other selected SW or MWCNTs.
Ultracentrifugation of the SWCNT dispersions can be utilized for improving the characteristic …

Transparent conducting films made of different carbon nanotubes

A Ansón Casaos, R Mis Fernández, E Almendro López… - 2014 - digital.csic.es
Carbon nanotube (CNT) films on transparent rigid substrates could be a substitute for
currently available transparent electrodes of indium tin oxide (ITO) or fluorine doped tin
oxide (FTO). In this communication, we present sheet resistance (Rs) and transmittance at
550 nm (T) data of CNT films prepared by spray-coating on a glass substrate. Spray-coating
was carried out with dilute suspensions of the CNTs in a sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate
(SDBS) aqueous solution. Different CNT materials, including various single-walled (SW) …
