Following the rationale of the first report on transcranial direct current stimulation for auditory
verbal hallucinations during pregnancy recently published in Brain Stimulation [1], our group
has satisfactorily evaluated a Trigeminal Nerve Stimulation (TNS) protocol for Major
Depressive Disorder (MDD) during pregnancy. MDD has an estimated prevalence ranging
