Precession electron diffraction is used to characterize the interaction between {10 1¯ 2}
tensile twins and basal plate-like precipitates in a post-deformed, precipitate-dispersed Mg-
9Al micropillar. We observed a heterogeneous distribution of precipitates in the micropillar
sample, which enabled the study of the different stages involved in twin-precipitate
