Use of Paliurus spina-christi Mill. as a novel biosorbent: efficient biosorption of Pb (II) and Cd (II) ions from aqueous solution
The biosorption process of lead (II) and cadmium (II) ions onto blackthorn (Paliurus spina-
christi Mill.) was clarified by characterizing the biosorbent with Fourier-transform infrared
spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray analyses. The
