This paper is an attempt to look at the roles of violence against children in school
environments of Nigeria. In doing this, the paper gives a brief insight into the concepts of
violence against children in Nigeria. The paper highlights issues in violence against children
in school environments, causal factors, effects and damages of violence in school. Lastly the
paper offers some recommendations towards getting the National Assembly to legislate the
creation of special bills for the protections of children in school environments.
