In this article, the design of a hybrid Passive Optical Network (PON) WDM-OIL-TDM is
presented. It is designed according to four technology principles. It delivers 160 Gbit/s on a
20GHz frequency band. In this proposal, OIL consists of a correlation of two slave lasers
controlled by a master laser modulated with a Mach Zehnder. This scheme will serve several
base stations in rural areas allowing them to benefit broadband ICT services. These base
