To achieve appreciable power conversion efficiency, low cost and ease of fabrication, dye
sensitized solar cell (DSSC) were invented. Components of DSSC are photoanode, cathode
and dye. Photoanode plays an important role in DSSC. In proposed work the ZnO, ZnO-rGO,
ZnO-rGO-Ag nanocomposites were prepared and implemented as anode material. The
corresponding band gaps of 3.43 eV, 3.32 eV, 3.11 eV and absorbance of 344 nm, 356 nm,

The corresponding band gaps of 3.43 eV, 3.32 eV, 3.11 eV and absorbance of 344 nm, 356 nm, 378 nm were observed. The fabricated DSSCs were characterized under standard conditions and attained reasonable overall power conversion efficiency of 3.11%, 5.81%, 7.67% respectively.
