The article describes the problems of optimal use of information resources of the organization as a component of operational efficiency of enterprises. The analysis of the effectiveness and the necessity of the introduction and use of IT outsourcing as an efficient tool to optimize operations of the entity according to the level of specialization and concentration of production. The recommendations on the method of election of functions (business processes), and a decision on whether they are transferred to the IT autsorging to obtain additional benefits by focusing on the core business.
