The rural Romanian environment presents a big availability for tourism, due to the various resources, natural and antropic that it is given with. Depending on the presence at the level of village and rural protected areas, of the built protected areas, spa stations have a national importance or a local importance the indicator called touristy attraction level has been calculated. This indicator underlines the quality aspects of the rural tourism in Romania, aspects that can be a basis element for the substantiation of some projects or strategies of rural economy diversification. He rural tourism activities is an important source of individual income, but also comunitary in the rural space. The agrotourism represents a real chance for the local economy, because between the agro tourism and the social-economic development of the rural areas there is a correspondence relationship and a mutual relationship. It is known the fact that the agro-tourism has a strong influence on the extern environment (economically, socially, and culturally), it’s development laying a mark on the general development of that area.
In approximately half of the Romanian villages there is no industrial activity being carried out. The urban concentration of industrial spaces phenomena presents a series of consequences and economical finalities and social finalities that are not favorable for the development of the rural space. If there is tried a classification from a functional point of view of the rural areas in Romania, it can be noticed a large space difference that results in natural different conditions and a different history. This way, the whole rural Romanian territory is characterized by a reduced development level that is reported to the urban space and to the European urban space.
