An analogue of Banach contraction principle and Kannan's fixed point theorem by defining
the minimality in a Banach space was proved by R. George et. al., in Generalized cone b-
metric space in [1]. We proved the same fixed point theorem extending it for a family of self-
maps in the setting of cone b2-metric space by omitting the definition of minimality in a

Abstract
An analogue of Banach contraction principle and Kannan’s fixed point theorem by defining the minimality in a Banach space was proved by R. George et. al., in Generalized cone b-metric space in [1].
