The trend within the society to produce waste materials has increased with improvement in the standard of living. This is clearly visible in the technology realm, especially when dealing with electronics. In recent times, the increase in the usage of electronic devices have lead to a massive production of Electronic waste (e-waste), which has become a point of focus for the industries around the world. In particular, the recycling of e-waste, to extract the good and precious source of raw materials, has gained even more interest from an economical and environmental standpoints. In this paper we address the transformation and the possible implementation of existing ideas for recycling e-waste worldwide to a particular case in Pakistan. The focus will be on the feasibility of the processes and the cost associated with it, while keeping in consideration, the factor of environmental sustainability. This article mainly focuses on the techniques which are being used in Pakistan to recover valuable metals at the Government and Private level. Lastly, in this paper we suggest an effective method, which should be implemented in Pakistan to recycle the E-waste in a better way.
