The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of information technologies on university students and to conduct research in this regard. This study is comprised of two sections. The first section deals with the demographic characteristics of the university students who have been included in the study, and the second section deals with the findings on the questionnaires completed by the students about the contribution of the information technologies and information on education and their interpretation thereof and review. A total of 395 students studying at the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Math and Literature and Faculty of Engineering of 19 May University completed the questionnaires and the results of the questionnaires were subjected to statistical analysis in the SPSS 15 program and t-Test, Unilateral Variance Analysis, Factor Analysis and percentage frequencies were conducted according to the departments the students completing the questionnaires attended. It was observed that the university students had quite a positive view on information technologies and that there were differences in the approaches of the students according to the faculties they attended.
