This study is about the finite difference method for the solution of the singularly perturbed
problem with the boundary layer and integral boundary condition. Firstly, we determine the
behavior of the exact solution and its derivative. Then we construct the finite difference
scheme on Shishkin mesh. Finally, we prove the uniform convergence of the proposed
difference scheme and give a numerical example, which shows the efficiency of the
proposed method.
Abstract
