Anterior segment optical coherence tomography features of acute corneal hydrops

S Basu, PK Vaddavalli, GK Vemuganti, MH Ali… - Cornea, 2012 - journals.lww.com
Purpose: To describe the clinical significance of in vivo corneal findings in eyes with acute
corneal hydrops. Methods: Medical records and anterior segment optical coherence
tomography (ASOCT) images of 24 patients with keratoconus and unilateral acute corneal
hydrops were reviewed. Clinical findings and position, integrity, and orientation of the
Descemet membrane (DM) on ASOCT were noted. Size of the DM break, depth of the DM
detachment, and corneal thickness were measured by ASOCT and correlated with the …

[HTML][HTML] Anterior segment optical coherence tomography

M Ang, M Baskaran, RM Werkmeister, J Chua… - Progress in retinal and …, 2018 - Elsevier
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) provides non-contact, rapid in vivo imaging of ocular
structures, and has become a key part of evaluating the anterior segment of the eye. Over
the years, improvements to technology have increased the speed of capture and resolution
of images, leading to the increasing impact of anterior segment OCT imaging on clinical
practice. In this review, we summarize the historical development of anterior segment OCT,
and provide an update on the research and clinical applications of imaging the ocular …
