Clinker portland is usually used as the main component in cement manufacturing, but in the present work, it has been used like raw material for making structural ceramics and ceramic matrix composites. It's a mix of diferent ceramic materials like oxides and silicates, all of them cheap and so abundant that make it suitable for producing structural ceramics at low cost. In this work, the sinterability of clinker portland reinforced with diferent oxides (MgO, SiCb, А120з) and other ceramic enhancers (СаРг) has been evaluated. The manufacturing process includes blending for homogenization following by cold isostatic pressing and sintering.
