The article presents a case study of a 3-year-old male patient who faced postoperative pain
after open thoracotomy. Topics discussed include cause of Erector Spinae Plane (ESP)
block, a facial plane block where local anesthetic is injected between the erector spinae
muscle and the underlying transverse process, diagnosis of postsurgical diaphragmatic
