The in vitro cultivation was studied of six Dutch elm [Ulmus× hollandica] clones, and
representatives of U. pinnato-ramosa [U. pumila var. arborea] and U. minor. Large
differences were observed in the response of genotypes to in vitro cultivation in all
experiments. Contrasting responses of clone 494 originating from different sites observed in
