Purpose The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the carbamazepine and
valproic acid on orthodontic tooth movement in male Wistar rats. Methods Evaluation of tooth
movement after 21 days of drugs infusion was carried out by feeler gauge. Bone
densitometry on lateral cephalograms was conducted on days 1 and 21. After dissection of
