The strength properties of glass-fiber-reinforced plastics produced by vacuum and vacuum
autoclave molding techniques are studied. Based on acoustic emission data, a method of
diagnostic and prediction of the bearing capacity of polymer composite materials by using
data from three-point bending tests is developed. The method is based on evaluating
changes in the exponent of a power function relating the total acoustic emission to the test
stress.
